Fox Valley Ferret is a 501(c)-3 tax exempt shelter serving Central and Northern Wisconsin and the U.P. (and sometimes MN).  We have never turned away a ferret regardless of age, veterinary needs or behavior issues.  Ferrets inappropriate for adoption remain with us until they go to the bridge.  We are 100% volunteer run and do not receive any government funding.  We try to return all calls the same day, but the shelter mom works two jobs outside of the shelter, which include evening and weekend hours.

Here are a few things that your possible new pet would like you to know.

Fox Valley Ferret on Facebook. 
Become a Fox Valley Ferret fan on our organization page, or send us a friend request on our original page, then post pictures of shelter alums or other ferrets that found homes with you.  But please remember-all are family friendly pages.

 Our RESIDENT MINK now have their own facebook fan page Minks of Fox Valley Ferret.  Next time you are on FB why not take a minute to like us.  Watch for added content.

Upcoming Pet Store Visits and Special Events

Fox Valley Ferret will have ferrets, information and assorted fundraising items such as car magnets (featuring a variety of animals). 
Pet Store visits are set up as the shelter mom's work schedule allows.  Please check our Facebook page for weekly  visits as they are not always set up in time to post here.  Or feel free to call the shelter to ask were we will be.
 

Your donations and fundraising purchases allow Fox Valley Ferret Shelter to provide the best care for every ferret that comes to us, adoptable or not.

The sick or injured, like Lydia.

The biters, like Panda.

The seniors, like Thomas.

And all the others whether they stay a short time before going to their forever homes, or live out their days here with us.
